The R35 changed during production, so problems and parts depend on the year. Have any car inspected by an R35 specialist before you buy.

Model years

  • 2011 model (on sale November 2010): more power and larger front brakes.

Gearbox

Nissan's owner's manual says some gearbox rattle is normal. Have a new or worsening noise checked by a specialist.

Brakes

Steel-brake cars from the 2011 model (November 2010) have larger 390 mm front discs, up from 380 mm, so check your build date before you order discs.
