These terms contain important limitations on your rights. Please read them carefully before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law.
1. About us
EPIC GTR LIMITED is a specialist supplier of high-performance automotive parts and accessories. Our primary focus is on performance, tuning, maintenance and upgrade components for Nissan GT-R vehicles (R32, R33, R34 and R35 models and variants).
We supply goods from our own stock as well as through drop-shipping arrangements with manufacturers and authorised distributors. We also supply performance parts for other vehicle makes and models upon special customer request.
We operate strictly as a retailer and do not offer fitting services, installation, dyno testing, engine building, tuning, calibration, or any technical installation or repair services. All goods are supplied for the customer to arrange their own fitting and use at their own risk.
2. Buyer responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that you fully understand the product description, technical specifications, intended use, and compatibility of any item before placing an order. You must carefully verify that the parts are suitable and compatible with your specific vehicle (including year, model, engine variant, existing modifications and any other relevant factors).
We strongly recommend that you check compatibility using your vehicle’s VIN number, official manufacturer data, or by consulting a qualified specialist where necessary.
If you are unsure about any aspect of a part or its suitability, you are welcome to contact us for guidance by email or the contact form at info@epicgtr.com. Any guidance or advice we provide is given in good faith based on the information you supply and is for information purposes only. The final decision to purchase, the selection of parts, and full responsibility for compatibility, suitability, installation and use remain entirely with you, the buyer.
We accept no liability for any loss, damage, inconvenience or additional costs resulting from the purchase of incorrect, incompatible or unsuitable parts.
3. Website content and product information
All photographs, images, illustrations, diagrams, descriptions, specifications, dimensions, weights, colours, power figures and technical data appearing on our website, social media, catalogues or any other marketing material are for illustrative and guidance purposes only.
Due to variations in lighting, screen settings, manufacturing tolerances and ongoing product updates by manufacturers, the actual goods supplied may differ in appearance, colour, shade, finish or minor detail from the images or descriptions shown.
We do not warrant that any images, descriptions or specifications are accurate, complete or error-free. Any typographical, clerical or technical errors are subject to correction without notice.
Product information is compiled from manufacturer data and is provided in good faith, but we accept no responsibility for its accuracy or completeness. It is your responsibility to verify all critical specifications, compatibility and suitability before ordering.
4. General
Manufacturers and suppliers reserve the right to alter specifications, materials, colours, designs or any other features of their products without prior notice. We accept no liability for any variation between the goods supplied and any description, image or sample shown.
We reserve the right to correct any technical, clerical or typographical errors in any quotation, order, invoice or other document without prior notice.
All parts are supplied on the understanding that they will be used only in the manner and for the purpose for which they are commonly supplied. We accept no responsibility for any alternative, modified or unintended use.
5. Off-road and competition use only
Many of our aftermarket high-performance, upgraded or racing parts (including many GT-R components) are sold strictly for off-road, track, competition or motorsport use only.
These parts are not designed, tested or approved for use on public roads. Using them on the road may make your vehicle illegal, invalidate your insurance or MOT, and could result in fines or other penalties.
By purchasing these parts, you agree that you accept full responsibility for any legal, safety, insurance or other consequences. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, claim, fine or cost arising from on-road or unlawful use.
6. Guarantees and warranties
If you buy as a consumer, the part must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. That duty is ours, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If it is not, you can ask us to repair it, replace it, or refund you. A manufacturer’s warranty, if there is one, is extra. It does not replace that right, and you do not have to deal with the manufacturer instead of us.
Aftermarket and high-performance parts often carry a limited manufacturer warranty, or none, especially when used for competition or off-road purposes. We will help you with a manufacturer claim where there is one. If you are buying for your trade, the manufacturer’s warranty is the warranty that applies, except where the law says otherwise.
7. Our liability
We take reasonable care to supply parts that match their description and are of satisfactory quality.
Our total liability to you under any contract (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) shall not exceed the price paid or payable by you for the goods in question. This cap does not limit a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses whatsoever, including (but not limited to) loss of competition points, racing awards, entry fees, track time, event costs, business interruption, loss of profits, or any similar racing or competition-related losses — even if the goods are defective, incorrectly supplied, delayed or otherwise in breach of contract.
We accept no liability for any issues arising from vehicle modifications, incorrect installation, or use of off-road/competition parts on public roads.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Payment and shipping
Nothing on this website takes payment. Saving a cart is not an order. A contract is made only when we send you a total that includes the parts, VAT and the delivery charge, you accept that total, and we receive cleared funds for it.
Before you pay, that total will show the delivery charge. We do not add it afterwards. The confirmation of a paid order repeats your cancellation right, including the 14 days where it applies and where to find the cancellation form.
We do not offer credit accounts. If payment is not received, there is no contract to ship. Any money taken for an order we cannot fulfil is refunded to the same payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.
9. Title and delivery
Ownership (title) of the goods remains with EPIC GTR LIMITED until we have received full payment in cleared funds.
All delivery times quoted are approximate only and are not of the essence. We will endeavour to despatch goods as quickly as possible, but special order, custom or drop-shipped items may be subject to longer and variable delays. If you are a consumer and we arrange the carrier, risk stays with us until the goods are in your physical possession, or with a person you asked to receive them. If you arrange your own carrier, risk can pass when we hand the goods to that carrier.
Shipping insurance
Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Unless you specifically request and pay for additional insurance, we ship using standard carrier options which may provide no insurance or only minimal cover. We strongly recommend that you arrange your own insurance for the full value of the goods if required.
If you want goods insured to full value or any specific level of cover, please contact us at info@epicgtr.com before placing your order so we can discuss available options and any additional costs.
It is your responsibility to inspect the goods carefully upon delivery before signing for them. When the courier or postal service delivers the item or items, you (or the person accepting delivery on your behalf) must check the condition of the packaging and goods before signing. Signing for the goods as received in good condition, or without noting any damage, will generally prevent successful claims for transit damage against the carrier or us.
You must notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt of any shortage, misdelivery, visible damage or discrepancy. Failure to notify us within this period may result in the claim being rejected.
10. Cancellation and returns
Before you place an order, all required pre-contract information (including our identity, contact details, total price including taxes, delivery costs, and your cancellation rights) is provided clearly on our website and at checkout.
- Consumer buyers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period (calendar days, starting the day after receipt). This allows cancellation and return of unused standard stock items for a refund in most cases.
- This right does not apply to a special order: goods made or finished to your specification, clearly personalised, or built to order. We will tell you before you pay when a part is a special order and cannot be cancelled for change of mind. A standard catalogue part that we only drop-ship, and that is not made to your specification, is not a special order.
- Trade and business buyers have no statutory right to return goods for change of mind. Any returns are at our sole discretion and subject to a minimum 50% restocking fee.
Returns procedure
We aim to treat every return individually and will always try to be fair and helpful where a genuine issue exists. However, to protect against misuse we must apply the following procedure.
All returns, including any claim that the item is faulty or damaged in transit, must be pre-authorised by us before the item is sent back. Please contact us at info@epicgtr.com and provide:
- Your order number
- Clear, detailed photos from multiple angles
- A short video clearly showing the alleged issue, where possible
- A full written description of the problem
We will review your request promptly.
Once authorised, the goods must be returned at your expense in their original packaging. We will thoroughly inspect every returned item upon receipt.
For higher-value items, we may require an independent inspection and/or additional time to complete our assessment.
- For change-of-mind returns where the consumer cooling-off right applies, we refund the money you paid to the same payment method. We do not substitute store credit unless you expressly agree. The item must be unused and in resalable condition, with the original packaging. You pay the return carriage, unless the part is faulty or not as described.
- For claimed faulty, misdescribed or damaged-in-transit items, if the claim is upheld after our inspection, we will offer a full cash refund, repair or replacement as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If our inspection shows signs of misuse, incorrect installation, accidental damage, wear and tear, or no genuine manufacturing fault, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or credit. We may deduct reasonable inspection, handling, testing and administration costs where a claim is not upheld.
Refunds or credits, if any, will be processed as soon as possible after inspection, normally within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
Complaints go to info@epicgtr.com with the order number. We are not obliged to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. If we cannot resolve a complaint, we will tell you about a certified ADR body and whether we will use it.
Nothing in these terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law.
11. Data protection
By registering an account or placing an order with us, you consent to EPIC GTR LIMITED collecting, storing and processing your personal data (including name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, order history and payment information) as necessary to fulfil and administer your orders, process payments, provide customer support, and comply with our legal obligations.
Your data will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We will not share your personal data with third parties except where necessary for the performance of the contract (for example payment processors and delivery carriers) or as required by law.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to any outstanding orders, invoices or legal requirements. You may exercise these rights by contacting us. By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
12. Overseas buyers
All orders shipped outside the United Kingdom are sent on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) or Delivered at Place (DAP) basis. You are solely responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, customs charges, VAT or GST, brokerage fees or any other levies imposed by your country.
We accept no responsibility for delays, additional costs or seizure of goods by customs authorities. When returning goods from overseas, you are responsible for all return shipping costs, export documentation, and any duties or taxes. We do not refund any import duties or taxes previously paid.
Importing a part so we can supply it does not, by itself, remove the cooling-off right. If the imported part is a standard catalogue item, a consumer in the United Kingdom can still cancel within 14 days. If it is a special order, the exclusion above applies, and we will say so before you pay. Duty, brokerage and overseas freight that you paid to a customs authority are not refunded. If you are outside the United Kingdom, you also pay the cost of returning the goods, including export paperwork.
13. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes, war, terrorism, riot, civil commotion, acts of God, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, governmental action, supply chain disruption or failure of third-party suppliers.
14. Entire agreement and severability
These terms and conditions, together with the order confirmation and any policies referred to here, constitute the entire agreement between you and EPIC GTR LIMITED and supersede all prior understandings, representations or agreements, whether oral or written.
If any provision of these terms is held by a court to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the terms and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Governing law
These terms and conditions, and any contract formed between you and EPIC GTR LIMITED, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You and EPIC GTR LIMITED agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or any contract between us.
Special note
A special order — goods made or finished to your specification, clearly personalised, or built to order — is non-returnable and non-refundable for change of mind, except where a genuine fault is proven after our inspection, which may include independent verification for higher-value items. We will tell you before you pay if the part is a special order. A standard catalogue part is not a special order just because we drop-ship it or import it. Please ensure compatibility before ordering.
