EPIC GTR LIMITED
Privacy notice.
Who we are, what we keep from an enquiry or an order, and the rights you have over it.
The controller is EPIC GTR LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 16673842, VAT number GB501086729. Registered office: 111a George Lane, London, E18 1AN. Email info@epicgtr.com.
What we collect
From the contact form, the cart and a part review we collect your name, email, telephone number, the car you tell us about, and the message or review. A review also needs a photo of the proof of purchase, and can include up to five photos of the part. We use the proof to check the review and we do not publish it. The name, comment and part photos can be shown once we have read them. When you buy, we also need a delivery address, a billing address, and the parts and price. We do not take card numbers on this website.
Why we use it
We use it to reply to you, to quote delivery, to supply the parts, and to keep the tax and accounting records the law requires. The lawful bases are contract, our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry, and legal obligation for invoices and tax. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent a form. We will only email you about offers if you have asked us to.
Who sees it
We share it with the carrier who delivers the order, with a payment provider when we take payment, and with the manufacturer or distributor who drop-ships the part. That supplier receives your name, telephone number, delivery address and the parts ordered, and nothing more. Some of those suppliers are outside the United Kingdom, including in the EEA, Australia and the United States. We share it if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Sending details outside the UK
If the supplier’s country is covered by UK adequacy regulations, we rely on that decision. If it is not, we only send the details after that supplier is on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. We send the minimum needed to deliver the part you ordered.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept long enough to deal with the question and any follow-up, then deleted. Order and invoice records are kept for six years, which is the usual period for tax records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict it, object to how we use it, and ask for a portable copy. Those rights are subject to outstanding orders, invoices and legal duties. Email info@epicgtr.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site stores your basket, the VAT view, and the car you selected in this browser so the pages work. Those are strictly necessary. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask before they are set.
The sale terms are on the terms page. Delivery and the cancellation form are on the delivery and returns page.
