Description
This is the BNR34 Skyline GT-R version of Tomei's Poncam Type R, part number 143052: an intake and exhaust camshaft pair for the RB26DETT, supplied as a one-car set. Both cams run 250° duration with 9.15mm lift. Type R was designed for cars that keep a standard or sports catalytic converter or a quieter exhaust, and Tomei recommends it with standard to N1 turbos. Poncams are designed to drop in without changing the valve springs or adjusting the valve timing. Standard heads vary, so Tomei advises checking the clearance between the cam lobes and the cylinder head during fitting and machining relief if needed.
