Description
This is the BNR34 Skyline GT-R version of Tomei's Poncam Type A, part number 143037: an intake and exhaust camshaft pair for the RB26DETT, sold as a one-car set. Durations are 260° intake and 252° exhaust, with 9.15mm cam lift on each. Tomei kept the exhaust duration short for a stable idle and better low to mid-range response, and pairs Type A with standard turbos up to N1 or larger bolt-on units. Poncams are designed to drop in without changing the valve springs or adjusting the valve timing. Standard heads vary, so Tomei advises checking the clearance between the cam lobes and the cylinder head during fitting and machining relief if needed.
