Description
Plazmaman's heavy duty valve springs, part number VSPR-RB26, suit the Nissan RB26 twin-cam engine in the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-R. They are a direct drop-in replacement for the standard springs, and the original retainers can be reused. The springs are nitride treated and shot peened, and Plazmaman quotes about 85 to 90lb at 37.2mm and 215lb at 26.1mm. Plazmaman recommends them for engines making over 250rwkw, to help prevent valve float. Boost pressure acts against the valve spring and reduces the effective seat pressure, which is why stronger springs help on turbocharged engines at high rpm. Made in Australia.
