Skyline GT-R bush upgrades: subframe and diff mounts

Worn bushes let the subframe and diff move, and you feel it in how the car drives.

Signs of worn bushes

  • Clunks over bumps or on and off the throttle
  • Wheel hop
  • Wander, or alignment that won't hold

Solid mounts

Solid mounts locate the subframe and diff firmly, but add noise and vibration and pass more load into the chassis. How much you notice depends on the car and the kit.

NISMO R200 diff bush kit

NISMO's 55401-RS590 kit has the rear diff mount bushes, the diff mount bushes and the upper and lower stopper bushes. The bushes are pressed in; the stopper bushes are not.

After fitting

Have the alignment checked after the subframe or diff mounts are refitted.

We list NISMO and NISMO Heritage parts for the R32, R33 and R34 GT-R.
